Going 1,000 years back in time, Fez Experience Tours would introduce you to the marvelous beating heart of Morocco, exploring the surviving culture and everlasting traditions.

We will start our Fes Medina Walking Tour by picking you up from Fes the authentic country and drive you towards the old core of Fes the authentic city.

The old Medina is one of the largest walled car-free urban areas in the world, as you can only see bicycles, Mules moving goods and  donkeys are hard at work carrying supplies up and down the twisting, mud brick corridors of the medieval city.

We will enter the old Medina from its majestic country, The Blue Gate “ Bab Boujloud”, with its remarkable Moroccan blue Tiles and fascinating Marble that beautifully turns to blue at the other side of the Royal entry.  Your multilingual guide will introduce you to the rich history of Fes as you wander through the bustle of small, winding medina passages and the quiet, reflective interior spaces that give Fez its charm.

Next, we would take through the  narrow streets and windy alleyways to discover the impressive real Moroccan beauty and emerge into its beautiful culture, passing by incredible small shops selling the most captivating Moroccan Handicrafts.

We will also introduce you the spectacular Madrasas ( Islamic Schools) to have the clearest ideas of the old islamic way of teaching and discover more about the fascinating Arab-Moroccan Architecture; we will start by the oldest university in the world, founded in 859 AD by Fatima Al-Fihri, to witness to a perfect example of the incredible Arab architecture. We will next visit “Medrasa Bouanania,” “Medersa Al-Attarine” the unique designs and the spectacular Moroccan fountains.

Afterwards, we will pursue our Fes Medina Guided Tour to  we would be visiting “Zaouia Moulay Idriss II”, the sacred Shrine of Idriss II the founder of Fes Medina. We will move next to The “Nejjarine Museum” of wooden arts & crafts to enjoy seeing the decorated tiles, before heading towards the Tanneries of Fes, to visit “Chouara Tannery”, where real leather is beautifully and naturally shapes and coloured, giving the most mesmerizing leather goods.
